The Grass is Always Greener...

The grass is always greener when you have sod.  Initially, we only had the right (larger) side of our yard sodded, mainly because of the expense.  After we had it finished, the other side of the yard looked just pitiful, so we decided to go ahead and finish the other side.  Yesterday, Adam and his team tilled up that side, moved our red bud tree to the back and planted a pretty sugar maple in its place.  This morning, they came to put down the sod, and I have to say that it looks mighty fine!

They'll be back tomorrow to plant a Carolina Silverbell on the right-hand side and put some mulch on the bed on the left.   The Silverbell is native to the southeast and has small, white bell-shaped flowers in mid-spring.
