Do the Twins Know About the Baby?
I have gotten this question a lot - asking whether Miles and Vivienne know that a baby is coming. We have tried explaining it to them, but I'm pretty sure that they really have no idea that we will have a baby here soon. They will even kiss my belly and say "baby," but I'm pretty certain that the concept is just a bit too advanced for them to truly grasp. In a few short weeks, though, they will definitely get the picture.

We have the same thing going on. Claire will touch my belly and say babies, but they both pull up their shirts and say babies too, even though it's just a belly button. Once we got the swings out and got the beds ready, it seems they've talked more about "babies!" and at least recognize something is going to change soon. I doubt they understand it for real, but like you said - they will see the change in person very shortly!
